Abstract
The collecting nature of α-amino aryl phosphonic acid(LN 11-2)on fluorite, barite and scheelite was investigated in this paper.Flotation test results show that the collecting order of LN 11-2 is fluoritebaritescheelite. In the presence of depressant, barite and scheelite can be selectively depressed, but fluorite remains floatable in alkaline medium using LN 11-2 as collector. In this condition, fluorite can be selectively separated from barite and scheelite. Based on solution equilibria calculation and IR spectra data, the collecting active species of LN 11-2 is((R_1)(R_2)NCH(R_3)POH)~-.The adsorption mechanism of LN 11-2 on fluorite is attributed to electrostatic and chemical force. The role mechanism of LN 11-2 with barite and scheelite is mainly of chemisorption.
